My name is Danielle, and I grew up in Los Angeles , CA. Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with food. My passion for cooking started when I was about 8 when I got my first cookbook. Making mini pizzas and cinnamon rolls were the highlight of my day.

As I got older, my desire to cook grew but so did my fear- the fear of not knowing if cooking was just a hobby or something I could actually see myself doing for a living. I was afraid that one day it wouldn't be fun and creative for me but become just another job.

After working in the medical field for 7 years doing something I had absolutely no interest in, I finally decided to follow my heart and go to culinary school. In the fall of 2014, I enrolled at The New School of Cooking in Culver City, in the Professional Culinary Program. Six months of accelerated, hands-on training from day one gave me the knowledge and confidence to finally do what I knew I always wanted to do. I am now a private chef for multiple families in Los Angeles and I love it. The ability to be creative and experiment with different flavor and translate that into healthy, delicious meals for my clients and their families makes me happy. I hope to continue my private chef business and explore other territories of the culinary world.
